Privacy & cookies
This page explains what personal data PolishedPages collects, why, how long we keep it, and your rights. We keep it plain because that's the point.
Who we are
PolishedPages is a trading name of GrafterUK Ltd (Company No. 17303977), registered in England & Wales. We are the data controller for the information described here.
ICO registration: ZC207387.

What we collect, and why
- When you send an enquiry through the form, we collect your name, Instagram handle, what you do, town, and email address. We use these only to reply to you — usually on Instagram — with an honest answer on whether a website is worth it for you and what yours could look like. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, and taking steps at your request before any contract.
- Anti-spam. The form uses a hidden field and a Cloudflare Turnstile check to block bots, and we briefly count submissions per IP address to rate-limit abuse. This is our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes basic connection data — such as your IP address and browser type — to serve the site securely and produce privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics. We do not build a profile on you.
We do not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we never sell or rent your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details submitted through the form are stored for up to 180 days and then automatically deleted. The notification email that reaches our inbox is kept only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and then removed.
Who processes your data for us
We use a small number of trusted providers (sub-processors), each under contract to protect your data:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and CDN, security (including the Turnstile bot check), transactional email delivery, and cookieless analytics.
- Google (Google Workspace) — the mailbox that receives your enquiry.
Cookies & analytics
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless and doesn't identify you. Cloudflare's security tools may set strictly-necessary cookies where needed to keep the site safe from abuse.
International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network. Where your data is processed outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. To exercise any of these, email enquiries@polishedpages.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) — though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
